• Mission:

1. As part of the Operations & Supply Chain Department, you will manage a portfolio of industrialization projects, and be involved in certain projects as a project automation engineer.

2. You will be involved from technical evaluation, specification definition, supplier follow-up, through to qualification at our sites in Nanxun.

3. Work with MES team to launch MES in Nanxun Plant.

• Job Scope:

1. Are responsible for meeting the Q/C/D commitments made in the project contract.

2. Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team (maintenance, purchasing, industry, quality, logistics) in the various project phases.

3. Be in charge of project reporting.

4. Carry out pre-studies and definition studies for assembly and control processes, in compliance with the Somfy Production System,

5. Draw up specifications (design of new equipment or automated equipment programs),

6. Validate technical choices, particularly aspects linked to the automation of our equipment,

7. Monitor the implementation of equipment (from set-up to delivery). at our special machine suppliers, right through to commissioning and qualification,

8. Manage industrial product/process transfer projects to other sites.

9. As a member of the Somfy Automation committee, you communication with French colleagues to ensure that the development of automation equipment is carried out within the framework of the Somfy Group's requirements for automation equipment.

Core Requirements(Technical / Managerial Competencies):

1. Trained as an automation engineer with a minimum of 4 years' experience, you will have worked on industrialization projects in a mass production environment.

2. Over the years, you have developed expertise in industrialization (assembly and control processes, functional analysis, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, special machines, etc.) and in project management, and you have knowledge of the following fields.

3. Automation: knowledge of Siemens PLCs, Schneider PLC to be able to challenge the solutions proposed by our suppliers, and in certain projects to carry out AF, AO and automation acceptance. Can use TIA Portal to create and monitoring PLC program.

4. Open-minded and a good communicator, you value teamwork and enjoy working in project mode, all the more so in multicultural contexts. With a strong technical background, you quickly understand the needs of your internal contacts, and are able to convey them effectively to our suppliers.

Strongly field-oriented, you are keen to establish a relationship of trust and proximity with the operational teams on site. A self-starter, you are able to apply your analytical skills and ability to summarize to good effect, and are able to work independently.

Be good at English reading and writing. Well English oral will be preferred.

1. University degree in automation Engineering
2. Have the experience to launch MES.
3. Experiences in working for multinational culture.
