Turnover grew by 10.8% during the last year (+8.9% on like for like). Growth was positive in all geographic regions and accelerated sharply during the second half: +11.8% on like for like, against +6.3% during the first half.

This performance was helped by healthy markets and commercial recovering actions : new product launches, winning customers back from the competition and opening of new subsidiaries.

France posts a growth of 5.7% over the year (+3.4% on like for like).

For Germany, the growth was 15.8% (+15.5% on like for like). The particularly high levels of business in the third and fourth quarters (respectively up by +22.6% and +34.8% on like for like), could result from anticipated purchases before the VAT increase of January 2007.

Southern Europe, Northern Europe and Eastern and Central Europe also saw growth accelerate during the second half (+12.7%, +13.0% and +14.7% on like for like) and closed the year with respective increases of 14.6%, 12.9% and 15.0% (+11.5%, +8.6% and +12.1% on like for like).

America suffered in the second half from the downturn in the housing market and growth slowed in the third and fourth quarters (respectively +7.9% and +5.7% on like for like). The whole year still brings significant growth however: +8.0% (+11.4% on like for like, with unfavourable dollar exchange rates at the end of the year as well).

Asia Pacific on the other hand picked up in the second half (+11.4% on like for like) and managed to end the year on an overall growth of 9.1% (+5.9% on like for like).
