Somfy reinforces its offer in the big building activity

Somfy Group informs that they have signed an agreement with Variosys Sarl to take over this company's activities.
Variosys has developed an advanced technology for controls for solar protection installations in Big Buildings, particularly through internet IP protocol. This expertise is complementary to Somfy's offer which is oriented more towards residential and small buildings.
At the same time, Somfy upon receiving the agreement from legal authorities, confirms buying some of Stehle GmbH's assets. Stehle is a well known and quality player in the solar protection market for motors and controls, particularly in the Big Building sector.
These two agreements allow Somfy Group to reinforce their Big Building activity and to expand their offer, particularly towards Germany, Austria and Switzerland, thanks to a range of products adapted to these markets.

Note

Somfy is the world leader in motors and controls for openings and closures in homes and buildings. Its main markets are France which accounted for 30 % of sales for the last trading year, Southern Europe (19 %), Germany (14 %) Northern Europe (14 %) and America (11 %).
