Somfy International turns into Somfy

The General Shareholders meeting of SOMFY INTERNATIONAL SA, held on June 3rd 2004, has decided to change the corporate name into SOMFY SA, as of June 30th 2004, and to modify the company by-laws accordingly.

This simplification aims at making the Group communication more consistent and visible, bearing in mind that Somfy is its major brand name and the root of most of the subsidiaries corporate names.

As an additional reason for this change, Somfy’s international capability is no longer an issue, as the Group, through operations in 45 countries, realizes 70 % of its sales outside France.

The General Shareholders meeting has also decided to grant the shareholders a net dividend of 4.20 € per share, which will be paid on June 17th 2004.
