Job Description

Job Overview:

As the Mega City Manager -Singapore, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives and expanding our market presence. This leadership role requires a visionary leader who can navigate complexities in a dynamic environment and elevate our business operations by enhancing the value chain. You will lead a team of business development / sales, and service professionals to ensure we deliver unparalleled service to all stakeholders. You will directly own the stakeholder accounts of Residential Developers, Hospitality Contractors and Partnership accounts in related industries, besides leading and supporting team for all segments and other stakeholder categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Growth:
    • Develop and implement a robust strategic plan to accelerate business growth in the Mega City and deliver / exceed sales targets for the Mega City.
    • Identify and capitalize on emerging market trends and opportunities to expand the addressable market size.
  2. Value Chain Optimization:
    • Elevate the company's position across the value chain in each of the priority segments by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in each segment.
    • Develop efficient business models and implement across value chain, working closely with all functions.
    • Lead the implementation of Marketing Initiatives in the Mega City, working closely with Marketing department.
  3. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team driven for results.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared objectives across architects, designers, clients, contractors, developers, consultants and our customers.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for important client accounts and oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  5. Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the performance of business units to ensure targets are met.
    • Utilize data analytics for strategic decision making, and drive performance improvements.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and financial sustainability.
    • Monitor financial performance to ensure the achievement of revenue targets and profitability goals.
  7. Market Intelligence:
    • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about competitive dynamics and customer preferences.
    • Adapt business strategies based on evolving market conditions and technological advancements.
  8. Corporate Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to shape the overall corporate strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events.

 

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
    • Experience: 10- 15 years of experience of work experience with more than 5 years in business leadership roles, with a proven track record in business development and sales.
    • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the urban market landscape and related industries.

      • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
      • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
