Job Description
At SOMFY, long-term partnerships with OEMs and Key Accounts are at the heart of our Industrials B2B business. By collaborating with leading manufacturers and industrial partners, we deliver automation solutions that are integrated into products and projects across a wide range of industries.
To accelerate the growth of this strategic channel, we are looking for an experienced commercial leader to join our Eastern Europe team as Channel Leader - Industrials B2B Eastern Europe.
This role will lead the deployment of our regional Industrials B2B strategy across Eastern Europe, ensuring strong alignment between Group direction and local market execution.
While there are no direct reports, success in this position relies on strong leadership through influence, working closely with Country Managers, Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, and commercial teams across the region to drive alignment, share best practices, and deliver consistent commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Deployment
- Drive deployment of the Industrials B2B channel strategy across Eastern Europe.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable commercial priorities and execution plans.
- Identify growth opportunities and continuously improve channel performance.
- Ensure consistent implementation of regional and Group initiatives across Business Units.
Commercial Performance
- Monitor sales performance and channel KPIs across markets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive developments.
- Identify business opportunities and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Participate in business reviews and support performance improvement initiatives.
Forecasting & Planning
- Coordinate channel forecasting and budget preparation across the region.
- Contribute to defining commercial targets related to turnover, profitability, margins, and volumes.
- Ensure reliable forecasting and demand planning processes.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain to align commercial ambitions with operational capabilities.
- Monitor demand versus supply performance and drive corrective actions when needed.
Sales Excellence & Operational Leadership
- Drive adoption of sales methodologies, tools, and commercial frameworks.
- Support effective use of CRM, reporting standards, Key Account Planning, and forecasting routines.
- Facilitate best-practice sharing and alignment across markets.
- Support deployment of new commercial processes, Sales Excellence initiatives, and change management activities.
Channel Programs & Capability Building
- Coordinate deployment of Partner+ network initiatives and regional channel programs.
- Support onboarding, sales training, and capability development initiatives across the region.
- Identify capability gaps and development priorities.
- Promote continuous improvement and sales excellence across Eastern Europe.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Trade Marketing, Product Marketing, Pricing, Supply Chain, Sales Excellence, HR, and other Channel Leaders.
- Ensure alignment between commercial priorities, operational execution, and customer programs.
- Represent market and channel needs within regional and Group discussions.
- Contribute to improving customer experience and strengthening channel effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Sales Management, Channel Management, Commercial Strategy, or related commercial leadership roles.
- Prior experience working in regional or matrix organizations.
- Experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Deep understanding of Industrials B2B channels and commercial dynamics.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented approach.
- Fluent English required; additional Eastern European languages are a strong advantage.
- Availability for regular business travel across Eastern Europe.
