Job Description
The Trade Marketing Manager BU HBBR leads Trade Marketing and Product Marketing activities across Hungary, the Baltics, the Balkans, and Romania. The role combines strategic coordination with a hands-on execution mindset to drive commercial performance, customer engagement, and brand visibility across the region.
Working closely with Sales, Channel, and Product teams, the position ensures effective deployment of regional and Group strategies adapted to local market needs, while leading a team of Trade Marketing Specialists across the HBBR cluster.
You will:
- Lead and develop the Trade Marketing team across the HBBR cluster, ensuring clear priorities, accountability, and strong execution.
- Drive the Trade Marketing strategy and execution across Hungary, Baltics, Balkans, and Romania.
- Manage and activate key B2B and B2C channels, including Installers, Industrials/OEMs, and Project Business.
- Translate regional and Group strategies into effective local go-to-market plans.
- Define and execute impactful marketing initiatives supporting sales growth and customer engagement.
- Manage the Trade Marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong ROI focus.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Regional Marketing teams.
- Lead local campaigns, sales promotions, customer activations, POS materials, and sales enablement initiatives.
- Support and develop partner programs such as Somfy Experts and Partner+ across the cluster.
- Monitor performance, track KPIs, and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness and execution quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, including team management responsibilities, ideally within construction, smart home, building technologies, or related industries.
- Proven experience in trade marketing, segment marketing, or product marketing roles.
- Strong understanding of B2B2C channel dynamics and partner activation programs.
- Ability to translate strategic priorities and technical concepts into impactful commercial and marketing actions.
- Experience supporting sales teams with trade marketing tools, campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM, marketing automation, and digital collaboration tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Canva, SharePoint, MS Teams).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in multi-country environments and adapting regional strategies to local market needs.
- Romanian – native/fluent; English – fluent; Hungarian is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% across the HBBR cluster and wider CEE region.
