Somfy Systems seeks a highly-organized professional to plan, organize, direct and manage the overall operations for the Retail Channel Inside Sales Team across North American facilities. This position will act as a liaison between customers, and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions to meet our customers’ needs. Job Description

Tech savvy, task orientated individual to work internally and externally to ensure that project documentation, deployment, and support are exemplary of the Somfy quality promise.

  • Provide Project Design and Technical Support
  • Provide technical support to Installers and Project Managers over the phone, via remote log in, and on-site.
  • Perform on-site Commissioning Services
  • Perform on-site Technical Support
  • Lead testing and validation of new products, firmware, and integrations
  • Support expanding skillsets of team members.

Qualifications

  • 2-year Vocation or Trade school certificate or equivalent
  • RS485 Knowledge
  • 5 Years of industry experience onsite and in office related to Low Voltage Systems, Home Automation Installation, and/or System Design
  • AutoCAD experience a plus
  • Experience programming Home Automation systems such as Crestron, Control4, and Savant
  • General networking experience including basic router/switch architecture, IP Address Management, Port Management
  • Experience troubleshooting related systems.
  • Fluent with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional presentation

  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)

Additional Information

Typical hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Tuesday – Thursday are required in office days. Monday and Friday are optional work from home days after onboarding period.

Up to 70% in Office (Dayton, NJ) / 30% Travel.
